Product & Sizing
How Do I Choose The Right Size?
Mom says it’s all about getting the perfect fit! Our sizing chart is super helpful, and if you’re still unsure, you can always email Mom at mom@atlasandmaya.com or WhatsApp here. She’s a sizing pro, trust us.
Are Your Clothes True To Size?
Our sizing is based on American Standard Charts and accurate to our size guide. We use month range as a reference but for accuracy, we suggest seeing the height and weight in our size chart because every kid is different!
Are The Colors Exactly As They Look In The Pictures?
Mom says colors can look a bit different on screens. Kind of like how our adventures look bigger in our imagination! We do our best to show the true colors, but small differences might happen.
Will The Patterns Look Exactly Like In The Pictures?
Mom says every piece of our adventure gear is as unique as we are! Because the fabric is cut differently each time, the placement of the design might not match the pictures perfectly. Think of it like treasure maps, no two are exactly alike, but they’re all made for epic adventures!
Are Atlas & Maya™ Products Safe For Sensitive or Eczema-Prone Skin?
That’s our starting point. We choose smooth, breathable fibers like Bamboo Lyocell, TENCEL™ Lyocell and/or ultra-soft Organic Cotton, with baby-sensible construction (flat seams, tag-free, soft guards).
Are Magnetic Closures Safe?
We use an innovative construction, where the magnets are sealed in a pouch, stitched into the product multiple times, and hidden between the layers of fabric, so that they are inaccessible to babies, toddlers, and children. It would take serious tampering to remove them. As a precaution, periodically inspect seams and fabric near magnetic fasteners. If tears, rips, or loose stitching are found, contact us!
Shipping & Returns
Where Do You Ship From?
Our awesome outfits ship directly from the best city in the world, a.k.a. Dubai! Straight from our headquarters, where Mom packs everything with lots of love (and sometimes even a hug).
Do You Ship Worldwide?
Absolutely! Wherever there are little adventurers, we can ship. Mom says the postman loves adventures too, so we try to reach every corner of the globe! If you don't see your country at checkout, email us and we will make sure to add it.
How Long Does Shipping Take?
Depends on where you are! For UAE, we offer same and next day delivery, and for most places, Mom says it's around 3-10 business days. Sometimes a little more if we're sending far, far away. But don't worry, Mom will keep you updated!
What Is Your Return Policy?
If something’s not quite right, Mom says we’ll make it right. You can return items within 14 days of purchase as long as they're still in adventure-ready condition (tags on, no mud or jam stains!). Just reach out to mom@atlasandmaya.com, and we’ll help you out.
For UAE, we accept free exchanges and returns, for other regions and countries, check our policies here.
How Do I Start a Return?
Just send us an email to mom@atlasandmaya.com, and we’ll help you out.
Will I be Charged Custom Duties?
Not within the GCC. Elsewhere? Maybe! It depends on where you live. Mom says customs rules vary from place to place, and sometimes they add fees. But we’ll do our best to help make the process smooth. You will find detailed information on your region at checkout.
Can I Track My Order?
Absolutely! Once your package is on its way, Mom will send you a tracking link. She loves keeping everyone in the loop.
Wash & Care
How Do I Wash Atlas & Maya™ Clothes?
Mom says gentle washes are best. Use cold water, mild detergent, and lots of love. Oh, and no softeners and no bleach please (bleach is definitelynot our friend).
Make sure zippers are closed, magnets are fastened, and snaps are best closed. It keeps everything in good shape during the wash.
For best results, wash inside out and with similar colors.
Can I Tumble Dry Them?
Yes, on low heat! But Mom says air or line drying is even better. It keeps our clothes extra happy and looking sharp.
Can I Use Softener?
We don't recommend it. Softener coats fibers and reduces the breathability/absorbency that make Bamboo/TENCEL™ Lyocell and Organic Cotton feel great. Use a gentle liquid detergent, add an extra rinse, and (optional) a small splash of white vinegar in the rinse to clear residue. Avoid chlorine bleach and high heat.
How Do I Remove a Tough Stain?
Act fast: blot, don’t rub. Rinse cold. Pre-treat with a bit of liquid enzyme detergent (or a drop of dish soap for oily stains), then soak 15–30 min in lukewarm water. Wash as usual. For lights/whites, you may use oxygen (non-chlorine) bleach per label. Air-dry first, heat sets stains! repeat if needed. For corduroy, avoid hard scrubbing; brush the nap gently after drying.
What If Colors Look Dull After Washing?
It’s usually residue or over-drying. Wash inside-out with a gentle liquid detergent, add an extra rinse, and (optional) a white-vinegar rinse to de-residue.
For light colors, a baby safe oxygen-bleach revive soak can help. Line-dry in shade or low heat, then steam to restore drape. Avoid chlorine bleach.
Payments
What Payment Methods Do You Accept?
Mom says we accept almost anything: Apple Pay, G Pay, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Cash on Delivery exclusively in the UAE, and even a little magic (just kidding). Choose whichever is easiest for you!
Is My Payment Information Safe?
Of course! Mom keeps everything under lock and key. She uses Secure Checkout and advanced encryption, so no worries there.
A bit more technical? We Use Stripe payment Gateway through Shopify Integration.
Sustainability, Certifications & Safety
What Does Sustainability Mean At Atlas & Maya™?
Fewer, better pieces. We design with skin-first fabrics that are sustainably and/or organically produced, smart tailoring that adds months of wear in one size, and responsible sourcing, so you buy less, love longer, and waste less!
How Does Atlas & Maya™ Clothes Reduce Waste?
Grow-with-baby fits, gentle stretch, and durable construction keep each size useful for more milestones (and more siblings). Longer life = fewer replacements and fewer items headed to landfill.
Is Atlas & Maya™ an Organic Brand?
We’re a conscious brand, not necessarily an organic brand. We prioritize organic natural fibers such as GOTS-certified cotton and closed-loop cellulose in our Bamboo and TENCEL™.
“Organic” describes how crops like cotton are grown and processed; for regenerated fibers like lyocell, the right lens is closed-loop production, responsibly sourced pulp (FSC certified) and low-impact chemistry verified by OEKO-TEX® Class I tests.
We design for longevity and safe skin contact, and we are currently undergoing certification for MADE IN GREEN by OEKO-TEX®.
What Certifications Do You Hold?
Across our supply chain: FSC® certified bamboo pulp (tier-0), Lenzing TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers, fabric mills certified to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 (Class I) and GOTS, and dye/printing partners OEKO-TEX® certified with RSL and wastewater compliance.
Our cut-and-sew partners participate in Amfori BSCI and also hold OEKO-TEX®/GOTS certifications. On arrival to Dubai, we lab-test locally the finished items as we are currently in progress of MADE IN GREEN by OEKO-TEX® certification for Atlas & Maya™ and to achieve it, we’ve aligned end-to-end compliance to qualify.
What does OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 (Class I) mean for my baby?
Class I is the strictest level. It means the product has been tested for a wide list of harmful substances suitable for babies and toddlers.
Are Your Mills And Factories Audited?
Yes. Our mills and cut-and-sew partners hold STeP and GOTS certifications and undergo Amfori BSCI social audits. We keep documentation on file as it is part of our requisites to achieve our brand level certification.
Do You Lab Test Finished Products?
Yes, we do it locally with third party labs in Dubai. Each production is tested for azo dyes, heavy metals where relevant, pH, colorfastness, dimensional stability, and needle-detect.
What is MADE IN GREEN and where are you on it?
MADE IN GREEN by OEKO-TEX® is a traceable label covering product safety and responsible production across the supply chain. It Includes STANDARD 100 and ORGANIC certifications.
We’re completing the prerequisites to certify Atlas & Maya™ at the brand level and expect our certification in 2026.
