Until the rashes and the struggle to dress you made me stop. That’s when I promised myself to keep you comfy, soothe your skin and still give us those aww moments.
It started in the not so quiet hours, in between feeds, what it felt like a million diaper changes, and a tiny outfit with a hundred tiny impossible buttons.
Atlas’s skin flared, tags scratched, seams rubbed, and I (hi, I’m Sasha) thought: there has to be a gentler way.
I wanted clothes that looked like my Spanish childhood but were easy and soft like sleepsuits, and didn’t get outgrown overnight!

Half Spanish, half American, raised in Venezuela. I learned early to live between worlds. Work took me across continents; love brought Dad, with his Lebanese heart and steady calm. We found each other in Dubai, where the desert meets the sea, and that’s where our family, and Atlas & Maya™, began.
Being third-culture shapes everything we make: we listen first, mix influences thoughtfully, and craft clothes that feel at home on every little one.

When Atlas developed eczema, I changed everything that touched his skin. That’s when I discovered bamboo and lyocell, and the difference it made. But all I could find were basic, boring sleepsuits.
I wanted outfits that were stylish, beautiful, gentle, and easy. So I began sketching during nap times and sampling before maternity leave ended.
What started as “the perfect playsuit” became a promise and then a brand.
