Skin-First Materials
For Tiny Humans

Babies’ skin is thinner, drier and more reactive. Our rule is simple: if it isn’t the kindest option for sensitive or eczema-prone skin, it doesn’t make the cut.
We choose smooth, breathable fibers, low-impact dyes and baby-safe finishes. Then we lab-test the results.
Soft like a hug. Kind to skin. Easy on the planet.
Lyocell is a modern fiber made from wood or bamboo pulp. It’s created in a smart, water-saving closed-loop process that recycles what it uses, so it’s gentler on the environment.
We use both Bamboo Lyocell and TENCEL™ Lyocell.
Both start as plant cellulose but the process makes the difference.
Lyocell uses a single, non-toxic solvent in a closed loop, while Rayon/Viscose uses a multi-step chemistry with variable recovery.
Lyocell has much lower water loss and emissions thanks to recovery; viscose can be very high.
Rounder, smoother lyocell fibers feel cooler/softer, stay stronger when wet, pill less, and hold shape better.
Lyocell keeps its hand feel on gentle machine cycles; viscose often needs extra care to avoid bagging or shrinking.
But only the really soft kind.
When we want cozy texture with structure, we choose Certified Organic Cotton. But we’re picky! Some organic cotton can feel raw or stiff depending on yarn and finishing; we never use a fabric just because it’s “organic.”
Ours must meet our Skin-First standard: ultra-soft, breathable, gently finished, and kind to delicate skin.
Skin-first means we scrutinize every trim. Beyond Fabric, we look carefully into kind components.
We’re a young brand, and we’re actively building toward our own brand-level certification MADE IN GREEN by OEKO-TEX®. To get there, we only work with vetted, certified partners and we lab-test every production with independent labs, including: pH, colorfastness, azo/heavy metals, needle-detect, among others.
Yes. We specify OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 (Class I) materials, uphold strict RSLs with our mills, and lab-test finished batches (pH, colorfastness, azo/heavy metals, needle-detect).
We design for skin comfort (soft bindings, tag-free labels, nickel-free contact points).
We believe is the best material for sensitive skin. That's why we love it.
Many parents find it gentler: lyocell’s round, ultra-fine fibers feel smoother, it’s breathable and thermoregulating, and it wicks moisture.
Note that it isn’t a medical treatment.
We rely on supplier and material certifications: OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 (Class I) on fabrics/trims/prints, GOTS-certified for our cotton and suppliers, FSC at pulp level for bamboo pulps, and Amfori BSCI audits at factories. We also perform finished-goods lab tests per batch. We are in progress of obtaining MADE IN GREEN by OEKO-TEX® at brand level.
We use a maximum of 5% in our blends to add gentle stretch and recovery so pieces fit better, move with your child, and keep their shape, which means they’re worn longer, fewer replacements are needed, and less waste is generated.
As per GOTS and certified organic standards, the use of Spandex under 5% is still certifiable organic and considered Low Impact on the environment.
Elastane is synthetic, so we keep it minimal, specify high-quality yarns as those sourced from Spandex™ brand, and test to OEKO-TEX® Class I.
We avoid formaldehyde resins, PFAS “forever chemicals”, banned azo dyes and heavy-metal dyes, chlorine bleach/optical brighteners, intentional fragrance on fabrics, flame-retardant finishes, nickel, and PVC/phthalates in prints or trims.
Yes, we carefully source safe components. We exclusively use YKK hardware, always nickel-free. Magnets are sewn inside safety pockets between fabric layers. We do recommend to inspect regularly and discontinue use if a seam is damaged.
Wash cool (30°C) on gentle; close zippers/snaps/magnets and turn inside-out. Use mild detergent (no bleach or softener). Line dry or tumble low; remove promptly. Steam or low-iron inside-out. Pilling is rare; if it appears, use a fabric comb and wash inside-out.
